In Iceland we were located in the regional north west, in a small fishing village of 500 inhabitants. We worked with the community of Skagaströnd and the local arts residency space, Nes Listamiðstöð. Ten artists immersed themselves into the village to respond to the curatorial premise; finding the intersection between humanity and environment.
The 3 month residency included symposia, multiple screening events and a film festival with Gútto Gallery in Sauðárkrókur, Féllegsheimilið in Skagaströnd, and Bío Paradís in Reykjavik.
